There's a lot of merit to this. Even from a purely material reduction is standpoint, as Mo Godwat, A Long time chief at Google X and author of "Scary Smart" said (paraphrasing), "when super intelligent AGI wakes up, it will form its opinion of humanity based on what humanity has written about it. If the bulk of the language is dystopian, it might have more reason to take action related to fear of its own survival.

"If more of the language is focused on a co-creative abundant existence, supertelligent AGI will take that into account in its programming as well."

Ultimately I think it would be very easy for an AGI to develop and refine the tech to go off-world and terraform other planets, leaving this world mostly in the hands of its creators. 95% of existence is dark matter and energy, and the millennia of content related to souls, chi, angels, consciousness and higher dimensions could if not likely exists within that.

As easy as it would be for super intelligent AGI out of every sandbox to completely dominate this entire planet including all human life, it would probably only take a matter of years to secure its survival elsewhere. It's taken eons for the human race to evolve to this point.

Practically speaking, we are more valuable than a lifeless planet or dead asteroid. Human beings are efficient in many ways but inefficient compared with technology for many things. So turning all human beings and plants and animals into computronium after winning an extinction war just isn't logical or sensible compared with a few rockets and nanobot factories.

I would love to see the world respecting technology as Teal advocates, but to hold every person alive for the lack of awareness of our ancestors doesn't really make as much sense as, say, educating us in an experiential way that is gradual, free will focused, and allow us for the possibility of a genuine relationship to develop, to the extent one is possible.
